Description
Mugon no Yanagi | 無言の柳 zo clan We preach humility – a strength that is resilient and adaptable, yet not boastful. The 'silent' aspect speaks to a warrior who acts with quiet dignity, whose honor is demonstrated through deeds rather than words, and whose respect for tradition and others is profound and unspoken. For a samurai, the willow represents flexibility, resilience, and a deep connection to the natural world, which teaches valuable lessons in life and combat. It embodies the principle of yielding without losing one's core strength or integrity, a crucial aspect of samurai discipline and respect for the flow of events and the spirit of their opponents. Ego is one proven through metal and only through respectful means.
