The "Tercio de ######### was raised on November 1st, 1636 in Spain, recruiting in Andalusia, Castile, and Galicia by José ####### de ######## y ###### Regular recruitment would continue to happen in those places. It numbered 15 companies, with each one having around 200 men, with each fielding 60 pikemen, 90 arquebusiers and 40 musketeers.
