Description

The Galactic Republic was a democratic federal union spread across light-years of space. It included countless sovereign systems, who were each given representation in a Galactic Senate that governed the Republic. Under the leadership of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, the Republic found itself in a war against the rebelling Confederacy of Independent Systems.
