Description
2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force, 2nd New Zealand Division, 5th Infantry Brigade, 23rd Battalion, A Company Formed in 1939, the 2nd New Zealand Division emerged during World War II and engaged in significant battles, including the North African campaign. Their involvement in the Battle of El Alamein demonstrated their determination to defend their objectives.
