The House of Rundstedt are an old Junker family that traced its origins to the 12th century and can be brought back to the Germanic Altmark tribes. They are classed as members of the Uradel, or old nobility, although they held no titles and were not wealthy. Virtually all the von Rundstedt men since the time of Frederick the Great had served in the Prussian Army. The first known member is Berengar von Rundstedt. The Rundstedt paid homage to the Elector of Brandenburg in 1536. 𝕻𝖆𝖙𝖗𝖎𝖆𝖗𝖈𝖍 𝖉𝖊𝖗 𝕽𝖚𝖓𝖉𝖘𝖙𝖊𝖉𝖙𝖘: WinterwolfRundstedt
