Description
Anubis is the ancient Egyptian god of the afterlife, mummification, and funerary practices. Depicted as a man with the head of a jackal or a full jackal, Anubis was believed to guide souls through the underworld, protecting them and ensuring their safe passage to the afterlife. As the god of embalming, Anubis oversaw the mummification process, ensuring that the deceased’s body was preserved for eternity.
