𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 The Separatist Alliance, or Confederacy of Independent Systems, is the separatist government led by the visionary Count Dooku and numerous oligarchs, aimed at challenging the Galactic Republic for its exploitation of Outer Rim peoples. Billions of manufactured battle droids, and even organic beings, fight for liberty from the high taxation and lack of representation from the Republic, with the welfare of the Confederacy's citizens secured by the Separatist Congress. Leaders of various corporations and clans, such as the Trade Federation, the Techno Union and the Banking Clan, form the Separatist Council, signing Dooku's treaty to unite against the common enemy in Coruscant, disenchanted with the Republic.
