โรงเรียนเตรียมกองทัพไทยเป็นสถาบันหลักของชาติที่มีหน้าที่สำคัญในการปกป้องเอกราช อธิปไตย และบูรณภาพแห่งดินแดนของชาติ รวมถึงการรักษาความมั่นคงภายในประเทศ และสนับสนุนการพัฒนาประเทศในด้านต่าง ๆ กองทัพไทยยึดมั่นในหลักการแห่งชาติ ศาสนา พระมหากษัตริย์ และประชาชน พร้อมทั้งมุ่งมั่นในการพัฒนาศักยภาพด้านการป้องกันประเทศให้ทันสมัย และมีความพร้อมต่อทุกสถานการณ์ เอกสารฉบับนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อเผยแพร่ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับภารกิจ โครงสร้าง หน่วยงาน และบทบาทหน้าที่ของกองทัพไทย ตลอดจนสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงจิตวิญญาณแห่งการเสียสละ ความกล้าหาญ และความเป็นมืออาชีพของเหล่าทหารหาญทุกนาย หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าเอกสารฉบับนี้จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้ที่สนใจและต้องการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับกองทัพไทย และเป็นแรงบันดาลใจแก่เยาวชนรุ่นใหม่ในการธำรงไว้ซึ่งความมั่นคงและเกียรติภูมิของชาติไทยตลอดไป -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
