Description
The Australian Bushmen's Corps represents all fighting units sent from the 6 Colonies and later Commonwealth of Australia, along with New Zealand Contingents, deployed to the Transvaal region of South Africa during the Boer War. All Australian units serving there were either Mounted Infantry, Lancer or Support units. The Boer War was the First Conflict where Australian born soldiers fought overseas.
