O 1° Batalhão de Ações de Comandos (1° B A C) é uma unidade de elite do Exército Brasileiro, com mobilidade estratégica e capacitada ao planejamento, condução e execução de ações de comandos, que são operações militares normalmente caracterizadas como incursões de longo alcance contra alvos inimigos de elevado valor e desenvolvidas em áreas hostis ou sob controle do inimigo, as operações do 1º BAC são caracterizadas pelo sigilo, pelo poder de choque e pelo alto grau de risco.
