California Steamship Company Founded 1898 Founded by a californio family in 1898, the company quickly grew popularity in 1915 following the California Panama Exposition bringing in a new ship, the San Diego which later became its flagship. Our Fleet: S.S San Diego 1915 ~ 1942 (retired currently not available) S.S San Francisco 1898 ~ 1939 S.S Empress of Tokyo 1928 - 1968 Please wear clothing appropriate to the time period during voyages.
