Description
La Segunda División de México, oficialmente denominada Liga Premier, es el torneo de tercer nivel de fútbol profesional dentro del sistema de ligas de fútbol en México. Fue fundada en 1950 con la participación de siete clubes: Zacatepec, Zamora, Pachuca, Irapuato, Morelia, Toluca y Querétaro. Hasta la Temporada 1993-94, el campeón de la Segunda División accedía a la Primera División, pero con la creación de la Primera División 'A' la Segunda División se convirtió en la tercera categoría en México.
