Description
The Great Qing, commonly referred to as the Qing Dynasty or just China, is an imperial dynasty of China. It emerged from the area of Manchuria, siezed control of Peking in 1644, and eventually spread its rule over the whole of China and Taiwan, as well as Inner Asia. After a brief revolution in 1912, the dynasty began numerous reforms to improve the quality of life, such as implementing a single currency and a unified language, however these reforms did not include democratization.
