𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑨𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 The Japanese National Police Agency (NPA) is the central coordinating agency for Japan's police forces. It is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of police services at the national level, as well as for the development of policies and strategies related to public safety and law enforcement. It oversees and coordinates the work of the Prefectural Police Departments, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, and the Imperial Guard Headquarters. The National Police Academy is led by the Commissioner General and National Public Safety Commission who oversees: - All staff - All NPA intelligence - All Prefectural Police orders
