Back in 1861, rebel artillery under the command of General P.G.T. Beauregard opened fire on Fort Sumter in Charleston, South Carolina, sparking a war that will completely reshape our nation. President Lincoln has called for volunteers to enlist in The Federal Army to put down this act of rebellion which has split our union in two.
