Description

BEAM is a mining contractor operating in the year 20XX, specialising in budget mining operations on planets primarily within the borders of the SOLAR UNION, whom they have a contract with, producing ore for the UNION and its industry. BEAM cuts costs for its operations anywhere it can, often by utilising outdated, surplus or discounted equipment, as well as delegating the majority of actual mining to a workforce of prisoners, who's prison terms have been purchased from the SOLAR UNION's own prison system. This helps keep costs low, and profits high, in the high-stakes industry of procuring and delivering valuable, rare ore to the SOLAR UNION. In BEAM : Mining Colony Roleplay, you will take the role of a Prisoner, Security Guard, Mine Foreman, or perhaps a few other classes, on one of BEAM's Space-Mining Colonies, working with and against others to survive the harsh realities of the distant frontier.
