Description
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ In the declaration of independence of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic adopted on May 28, 1918; Azerbaijan should have a regular army and create its own armed forces in order to defend itself against external attacks and neutralize the internal enemy forces. Because the national statism of the state without an independent army is always condemned to live under the danger of foreigners. General Husrev Bey Sultanov was appointed as the Minister of Defense of the Azerbaijan government in the first cabinet formed on May 28, 1918, regarding this necessity.
