Description
In 1704, The government of Hannover-Brunswick leased out 7 regiments of elite grenadiers to the British crown. One of these regiments were sent out to Halifax in order to fight French claims to Newfoundland. In 1722 the soldiers were sent to the Isle of Rupert in order to prevent New France from taking over the territory.
