𝐔𝐒𝐑𝐂 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝚄.𝚂. 𝚁𝙴𝚅𝙴𝙽𝚄𝙴 𝙲𝚄𝚃𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝚂𝙴𝚁𝚅𝙸𝙲𝙴 ═────────────────────────────────────────═ The USRC Harriet Lane, built for Customs Enforcement, was launched from New York in 1859 which she later served a pivotal role in Union Naval Actions during the Civil War. Ordered south from NYC, she helped in a wide range of roles. She was later captured by the C.S. and would not be returned to Union Authorities until about the end of the War. She was later sold to private service and sank in 1881. ═────────────────────────────────────────═ As the Harriet Lane patrolled the New York Harbor before the Civil War, New York Militiamen have been called up to serve the Federal Government aboard the cutter.
