Description
The Schützen-Bataillon was an infantry unit of the Prussian army that existed from 1808, the uniforms of the rifle batallion were hunters green and the units were usually armed with the Potsdam Rifle. This regiment frequently fought as skirmishers, meaning in loose formations ahead or beside the main battle, working to loosen up the enemy forces and eliminate officers.
