Description
▬▬▬ The Lictors Guild ▬▬▬ Symbols of Roman Law — Walkers with Fasces. Lictors serve the Consuls and Magistrates of Rome as ceremonial guards and enforcers of legal command. They carry fasces — bundles of rods symbolizing unity and justice — and represent the sovereign authority of Rome. In peacetime, they protect senators and oversee formal proceedings. In crisis, they become executioners of the state’s will, upholding laws with precision and without bias. They do not speak often, but their presence speaks volumes.
