Description
The SCP Foundation is a fictional organization that appears in a collaborative creative writing project known as the SCP Foundation universe. It is a collection of stories, articles, and other written works that revolve around the idea that the Foundation is a secret organization dedicated to containing and studying anomalous objects, entities, and phenomena. The lore of the SCP Foundation is vast and complex, with countless entries detailing different SCPs (Special Containment Procedures), each with their own unique characteristics, properties, and abilities. Some of the most well-known SCPs include ####### (a statue that can only move when not observed), ####### (a humanoid creature that becomes violent when its face is viewed), and ####### (a nearly indestructible reptilian creature). Many of the SCPs are extremely dangerous and require specialized containment protocols. The Foundation also has a hierarchy of personnel.
