Description
The 28th Regiment of Foot, founded in the year 1694 for Service during the Nine Years War saw extensive service throughout the Napoleonic Wars from the arid deserts of Egypt, to the fields and chateaus of Waterloo. The 28th Regiment of Foot sees its official designation, and functionality as a "shock" Light Infantry force, something which it quickly became known for, and gained the nickname "The Slashers" for.
