Old English Chronicles #17183174
Description
The English Chronicles first records contact with the ships of Deniscra Monna ('of Danish men') in England in AD 787. A series of Vikings raids in England in the following decades led to the first overwintering of a Scandinavian force in AD 854/855 on Kent. In the English Chronicle, it is recorded that there were five Kingdoms in England known as the Kingdom of Northumbria, Kingdom of Mercia, Kingdom of East Anglia and the Kingdom of Wessix. This group is inspired of the show The Last Kingdom.
