Description
"Cold Steel Third" The 3rd Ranger Battalion is was first organized as apart of the 75th Ranger Regiment in 1943 where they saw first combat in Morocco during the campaign in North Africa. They were soon Reassigned to Operation Husky on the march up the Italian Peninsula. And most famously, they were a crucial element on the Assault of Point-Duc-Hoc on June 6th 1944 during the D-Day landings. The Cold Steel Third would go on to march into Germany in 1945.
