No. 40 Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force No. 40 Squadron is the main advanced transport squadron, in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Originally established in 1943, the squadron continues to operate in active duty, with the well known C-130H Transport Aircraft. Currently No. 40 Squadron employs pilots, air navigation officers, and loadmasters. More trades will be implemented in the future.
