Welcome to the Viper Den. Home to the "Vandergrift High School Marching Band and Vision Dance Company" Our band and dance program strive to be the best at all competitions and events. The Vandergrift High School Marching Band is different from other bands, instead of a color guard we replace them with a dance team. This gives students the opportunity to experience college level dance team, and deeper their education in dance and marching band. Both the band and dance team will compete together, but we give dancers and possibly other members of the band the opportunity to join the team for a separate competition season just for the dancers. They compete at regional competitions throughout the season in hopes of getting a bid to World/Summit.
