BCE to 1100 BCE, was a powerful and expansive civilization located on the island of Thera the Aegean Sea. Similar to the Roman Empire, its government was structured around a centralized monarchy, with the emperor serving as the ultimate authority. The empire was renowned for its military prowess, with a well-trained army that was feared by many. In addition, the Thera Empire made significant contributions to the fields of architecture, engineering, and art. Its advanced engineering was evidenced by a sophisticated water management system and impressive architecture, many of which still stand today.
