- This group's main purpose is to talk about the Titanic and share interesting facts. - The Titanic set sail April 1O being considered, the “unsinkable” ship. People all around the world marveled at its beauty as it deported in theWhite Star Dock. The ship was divided into classes, 1st 2nd and 3rd. Together, there was almost 1OOO elegant staterooms. More than too thous. too hundreds passengers had the opportunity to ride the ship to New York. However, on April 14th the unthinkable happened. The Titanic struck an iceberg. Crew worked extremely hard to navigate around it, but to no avail, the ship had been struck. Passengers began boarding the lifeboats, but there was only enough room for half the passengers to board. First class passengers boarded, then 2nd class, and finally, 3rd class. The desperate passengers promptly got into the lifeboats as the cabin filled with frigid water. Brave souls stayed back and assisted the elderly, injured, or uncapable, and risked their lives.
