The Directorate for Professional Standards (DPS) is the part of the Metropolitan Police Service responsible for investigating and enforcing rules, procedures, and standards of the MPS in leadership and supervision, security of information and intelligence, recognition of the diversity of communities and staff, identifying and reacting to organizational and individual learning, and maintaining the threat of detection, prevention, and management of risk. How to join? Required to already be a member of the Metropolitan Police Service, attend a tryout for DPS.
