Description
Officer Candidate school is an elite and challenging school for soldiers being recommended for Promotion to an Officer Position ([O1]+). The school consist of Four Demanding Phases, starting with Phase 1, Physical Training up to Phase 4, The Officer Candidacy Examination, which uses information summarized from all phases. Officer Positions are earned via the Officer Candidate School, and only through the school. Instructors are also only selected from USADSA (WITHIN TRADOC) Instructors. It cannot be tried out for, only selected. OCS is a division within HICOM but reports directly to USAR, and does not take commands from TRADOC.
