Description
ARC — 14, formally known as Advanced Research Compound — 14, is a high-clearance, deep-containment research installation dedicated to the study, exploitation, and neutralization of anomalous phenomena considered too unstable, too politically sensitive, or too poorly understood for standard Foundation laboratories. Conceived during the late stages of a classified reorganization initiative, the compound operates as a semi-autonomous research enclave. ARC — 14 exists “between” traditional Site structures: not quite a Site, not quite a Provisional Facility. Instead, it functions as a black-budget think tank, drawing senior personnel from other facilities to ensure its operations are flawless.
