Description
The Duchy of Malentia was born in 1756, amid the upheaval of the Seven Years’ War, a conflict that left much of Europe fractured and the Italian peninsula torn by competing powers. In the narrow coastal lands between Tuscany and Liguria, where foreign forces jostled for influence, a coalition of local nobles and militias refused to bow to any crown. Rejecting subordination, they proclaimed the independent Duchy of Malentia, a small but determined state, forged through courage, cunning, and unity, and destined to endure under the leadership of the newly established House Valento.
