Description
Mireheart era 1 Vireholt Village once lived beside a vast swamp-forest, but its people became corrupt, draining the waters, burning peatlands, and cutting down mangroves for greed. A young girl was the only one who saw the swamp as alive and begged them to stop as it began to die. When they felled the great heart-tree of the swamp, the land reacted—the waters rose, the ground sank, and the swamp itself awakened. The gods chose the girl, lifting her into divinity and binding her to the living swamp as its eternal guardian. In her new form, she cast out the corrupt villagers into the poisoned outer marshes and reshaped the land into a sacred swamp realm, where only those who respect its life are allowed to remain. Those who protect the swamp are never truly alone, for when darkness comes for them, the swamp remembers their kindness and rises to stand beside them as they once did for it.
