Description
Reactivated in 1990 after two years of being disbanded, the 3rd Raiding Squadron Royal Marines worked the eastern approaches through the refugee crisis and the smuggling years and was first in contact when the 1997 PLA landings came at Sai Kung. After 1999, it is made up entirely of Locally Enlisted Personnel (LEP).
