Description
🎺步兵┇𝟏𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 [🎌] The 1st Infantry Regiment stands as the premier formation of the modern Imperial Japanese Army. Raised in the early years of the Meiji Restoration, it serves as the model for discipline, organization, and loyalty to the Emperor. Composed of two line battalions, the regiment fields most of the members within IJA. Officers receive training influenced by French and Prussian military systems, but the regiment retains a uniquely Japanese ethos, blending Bushidō ideals with modern military science. As the vanguard of the Jade Division. the regiment maintains readiness for rapid deployment while fulfilling ceremonial responsibilities such as Imperial Guard rotations, state parades, and funerals of national heroes.
