Super Bowl XLV is the ongoing 45th annual edition of the Super Bowl game in American football. The game decides the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2010 season, and is to be played between the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Pittsburgh Steelers and the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Green Bay Packers. The game is currently being held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas on February 6, 2011, with the kick off at 5:36 pm Central Time (CT) (UTC-06). The game is the eighth appearance in the Super Bowl for the Steelers of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, founded in 1933 as the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the fifth for the Packers of Green Bay, Wisconsin, founded in 1919 as the Indian Packers. Going into the game, the Steelers hold the record with six Super Bowl wins.
