Home Page of First Bus and Scotrail. Welcome to First Bus and Scotrail LTD. We are a major transport operator in Scotland registered in Glasgow. FBSR originated from the deregulation of bus services in the United Kingdom, whereby private companies purchased nationalised and municipal bus operators. We operate an average of 200 buses with 40,000 people travelling with us per day, either by bus or train! We are Scotland's preferred train and bus provider and hope to remain that way! All of our services are under local Government contract, which means all services are subsidised. The fleet currently consists of Enviro 300 Hybrids, Enviro 400's, Dennis Dart SLF's and single deck Scania Omnicitys. Current deliveries expected are Volvo 7900's and Enviro 200's (converted to Hybrid) In May 2013, we became part of First Western National Buses LTD
