Garde républicaine Republican Guard Bonjour, Welcome to the Republican Guard of France. Our main objective is to protect the President or government officials. There are both infantry and cavalry in this regiment, however there is one uniform force. We also show up during parades and for active combat. You must be tested and accepted into this regiment by the high command.
