The Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network, or C-SPAN, is an American cable and satellite television network that televises many proceedings of the federal government, as well as public affairs programming. C-SPAN is the only news network in the United States that televises all Congressional gavel-to-gavel events, to inform the American people about congress.
