Description
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐟𝐭 is the most southeastern of the holds of Skyrim. The Mistveil Keep in the capital city of Riften serves as the seat of the region with other settlements including Ivarstead and Shor's Stone. Much of the land is composed of lush, autumn-colored valleys and rivers. It’s situated between many mountain ranges to the southeast and northeast and is located atop an immense plateau that isolates the hold from neighboring regions. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ⚔ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Rift along with Winterhold, Eastmarch, and The Pale, make up the “old holds” of eastern Skyrim. Isolated by geography and choice, these holds are bound together in history and tend to adhere to the old ways.
