Battle of Ludendorff Bridge #2539528
Game studiosENWorld War IIMilitary SimulationRoleplay
Description
✯The year is 1944, and the U.S. Army has a company of regular G.I.s moving to secure Remagen, a rural German town. Lt. Karl Timmerman and his men clear the town quickly, using their newly issued Pershing Tanks. Timmerman notices that the Ludendorff Bridge is still standing, and quickly calls it in. The U.S. High Command orders the men to take the bridge. The brave G.I.s sat off, but the bridge was rigged with explosives, a charge made the bridge impossible to drive across, so they went on foot. The Germans quickly surrendered, and the victory shortened the war indefinitely by at least five months.
