United States Third Army ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Era: 1941-1945 (World War Two) Nickname: “Patton’s Own" Motto: "Tertia Semper Prima” (Latin for "Third Always First”) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Third Army was activated as a formation during WW1 on 7 November 1918. The Third Army is know for it’s outstanding campaigns under General George S. Patton. After the Third Army was shipped to France it began a great dash across France. It had to stop it’s advance near the Germany border because of lack of supplies. The Third Army then was send to save the Battle of the Bulge.
