Description
"Blood Blackened by Fire" House Blackfyre is a famous house within the Seven Kingdoms, known for its bastard dynasty of House Targaryen. It is named after the Valyrian Steel sword "Blackfyre" passed down to the houses founder; Daemon Blackfyre. House Blackfyre was founded by Daemon Blackfyre, a bastard son of King Aegon IV Targaryen, following his legitimization. It is well known for their many attempts to take the throne from the Targaryen line. Their sigil is a black three-headed dragon on a red field, the reversal of the Targaryen heraldry.
