Description
𝟗𝟓𝐓𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓 (𝐑𝐈𝐅𝐋𝐄𝐒) "𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙂𝙍𝙀𝙀𝙉 𝙅𝘼𝘾𝙆𝙀𝙏𝙎" Raised in January 1800 as an experimental unit of sharpshooters, they became an established regular regiment and were titled the 95th Regiment of Foot (Rifles). The rifles served ably at the Battle of Roliça, where their rifles were used to devastating effect against their outnumbered, undersupplied French adversaries. Demonstrating similar ability and bravery at Vitoria and Corunna, British riflemen have become the bane of the French and Spanish forces in the Peninsula, and have a particular talent for taking out their enemies before they can ever be seen. 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑: Major-General the Right Honourable Sir TheReaISharpie, KT, KB, Kt. 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒: ROLICA | VITORIA | CORUNNA | EGYPT | POLOTSK | ALHAMBRA | ALMERIA | HUETORVEGA | MØNS | ROSSOMME | 13/2 (LA HAYE SAINTE) | 21/2 (PAPELOTTE)
