Description
Fondor Weapons Inc. owned several huge construction facilities located in orbit of the planet Fondor, in the Fondor system. Numerous capital ships and freighters were in construction here almost all the time. Presumably because of the shipyard's strategic importance, the shipyards were also guarded by a compliment of CNR R.E.F. commandos as well as several Republic escort carriers. The company has also been trying to break into lighter grade weapons to supply the Republics more basic needs, including planetary tank factories and prototype weapons projects. The company also created the Executor-class Star Dreadnought but the ship is yet to enter open markets, still favored by the easier to produce Venator-class Star Destroyer.
