Founded in the post-war period (1947) under the guise of an academic research consortium, the Nexum Institute operates across 31 countries with no publicly acknowledged headquarters. It has never issued a press release. Its name does not appear in any government registry. For over 70 years it has known about the infection — catalogued it, studied it, and kept it sealed in IC-SUTHERBY-9. Until something changed.
