Primum Corpus Laternarum ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ When Volthoom, the First Lantern was struck down by Nekron, Lord of the UnLiving, his physical form was shattered, but a soul tied to the Emotional Spectrum cannot truly perish. From the primordial, crystalline remnants of Volthoom's fractured shell, a new lineage was excavated: The First Lantern Corps. Functioning as ancient progenitors, these splintered fragments of his immortal consciousness have evolved into autonomous offspring. Each being serves as an apex conduit, intrinsically linked to a singular, unfiltered emotion of the spectrum. Awakening from the dormant, desolate crust of the planetary anomaly known as Lantern-Killer, the Corps rises not to serve the Guardians, but to reclaim the spectrum that is rightfully theirs.
