Stargate Command, Department of the Air Force, United States of America. SGX is officially shut down as of June 29th, 2016, after a 1-year run on beginning on June 29th, 2015. We are still here! Our efforts have moved to https://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=2882342 This was our shut down post: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=193420328 ---------------- In 1997, Cheyenne Mtn Complex, the base fitted with the Stargate, was attacked by an alien force, 4 airmen were killed and 1 captured. Following this attack, the military retaliated, sparking an intergalactic conflict between alien forces and the people of Earth. Following this conflict, the USAF had begun the formation of Stargate Command, a top secret MAJCOM responsible for the defense of Earth, with the sole mission to seek out new technologies to combat the Goa'uld, and prevent Earths demise. ------------------------------------
