Description
Era: Colonial Period: 1714 – 1830 The City of Edinburgh is made up of three branches: Cathedral, Constabulary and Council. The Cathedral is run by the Bishop and helps run events in the City and assist social development and welfare of citizens. The Constabulary is run by the High Constable and enforces the law within the city, protects citizens and provides defence in times of emergency. The Council is run by the Lord Provost and acts as the main legislative body within the city. The council debates and passes resolutions that provide a framework for rule and law within the city. -NOTICES- All three branches are recruiting at the moment. If you wish to join one contact the head of that branch. To join the Council you must get four other people in the group to support your election. The Lord Provost is the civic head of the city and will be elected by the City Council once we have at least 3 councillors.
